What a day.....

Thanks for everyone's support at our first wedding fair today, we had a great time meeting fellow exhibitors and lots of lovely Brides & Grooms to be and their families! Loads of great comments about the cakes, not just how they look but also how yummy they taste (even if we do say so ourselves he he!!!).

We were really pleased how the stand looked and can't wait to do another one but first, I think a little rest and relaxation is in order for me and my trusty sous-chef, Richard!

Pre-wedding fair nerves.....

Well tomorrow is our first ever wedding fair at Ewood Park, Blackburn!!!


 It's totally free and doors are open from 11am til' 3pm so we're hoping that plenty of brides-to-be (B2B) will be coming along to see what we do! We've been really busy over the last few weeks getting some new designs ready and today I've been busy in the kitchen making some delicious samples of our favourite Luscious Lemon and Chocolate Truffle cakes to hand out as samples. 


Excited and nervous in equal proportions at the mo but really looking forward to getting the stand looking fab and meeting some giddy B2B's and finding out about all their lovely wedding plans!!

Who needs the gym when there's sugarpaste to knead!!

Well this time next week we'll be exhibiting at our first ever Wedding Fair at Ewood Park, Blackburn so this weekend we've been busy making five fabulous looking display cakes for our stand! 


My arms, hands and even stomach muscles ache from kneading sugarpaste but it will definitely be worth it when they're all finished, I just hope I don't end up with arm muscles like Madonna!

My brand new banner has arrived!!!

Oooh so excited, we recently designed a Marie Antoinette banner to use on our stand at Wedding Fairs (my first one is at the end of the month) and it just arrived!! It looks great and I love it, can't wait to use it for the first time, I will of course post a pic when I do!! x

What to do with a day off........

Well seen as I have a day off I'm doing some work on developing a range of more affordable yet fabulous-looking wedding cakes for those Brides who are on more of a strict budget. I've got plenty of ideas for my "Simply Antoinette" range so watch this space for updates.......
