I just love this cake design for a joint-Christening last year, for two little girls Isla & Olivia whose parents wanted something gorgeous but stylish and a bit different to some of the boring plain white Christening cakes you see out there.
After looking at lots of images we came up with this design, pale pink, hot pink, pale Tiffany blue and white with name plaques piped with the girls names on the front. We also incorporated pretty 2D layered flowers and pretty birds to add a really sweet but contemporary feel to the cake.
I think this cake turned out beautifully and is the perfect accompaniment to a girly Christening!
